EVENTS

As mentioned on the home-page, Back 2 Fitness is not a mere clinic or centre but a move-mint. We have to spread the crazy idea like ebola virus to all we get in touch with, even virtually. We either organize or are part of core-body organizing craziest of events on planet earth to getting very sedentary folks to simply move.

La Ultra - The High is the world's highest altitude and toughest ultra run of 222 km in Leh-Ladakh region that we have been organizing for last 3 years. It pushes the human body beyond what was said to be impossible 4 years ago. World's fittest ultra marathon runners come along to take part in it.

Run for Tomorrow (R4T) is a continuous relay-style run around the world by a 10-person team of elite marathon runners, each of whom will run the marathon distance each day.  The team will be integrated with local runners and celebrities from the areas through which R4T passes.  As it continues through different locations around the world, the core team will raise awareness of the R4T cause and mobilise activities in various individuals and organizations.

Besides providing medical back-up to the event, our very own Dr Rajat is part of the core team. Our physiotherapists will take turns accompany the runners on their endeavor.

Himalayan Rush is a triathlon held in Pokhara, Nepal. It is a result of our twin loves of fitness and Begnas Tal. The 2nd Edition is being organized on 30th March 2013, Saturday. Easter weekend.  Along with organizing, we provide medical cover as well to the event.

We firmly believe that before we start talking about making Earth fit, we first need to get ourselves in better shape. For the 2nd year, we will be organizing events on 22nd April 2013 throughout India, in collaboration with Danish Cultural Institute.

On 4th November 2012, we organized a half marathon in Mussoorie, Uttrakhand, with the intention to get more people to start moving, if not running yet. Mussoorie is a boarding school hill station. It's about health, fitness and a sporting nature that we need to inculcate in the young minds and fill a growing gap.
