You are on the page of Indian Chapter of British Journal of Sports Medicine, which was set-up in March 2013. Our founder, Dr Rajat Chauhan, is now Associate Editor of British Journal of Sports Medicine (BJSM).
Join us on our facebook page and stay abreast with the latest developments in the world of Evidence Based Medicine in Sports and Exercise Medicine and Science.
The intention is to share the latest Evidence Based knowledge in the field of Sports and Exercise Medicine and Science, but not limited to managing sports people alone. Exercise has a very crucial role in almost all chronic diseases, but most doctors and colleagues are not fully aware of it. Through this forum, we'll bring it to all interested parties.
Medical and Physiotherapy colleges are invited as institutions to join this initiative. Medical and physiotherapy students are invited in individual capacity as well. At bachelors level, journal articles are not encouraged to be read. Text books traditionally are 10-15 years old. Also, we never teach or are taught to critically review the content we read as gospel word.
British Journal of Sports Medicine journal club in India started from April 2013. We will meet each month to discuss the articles in current issue of BJSM.
